Sue Ghosh Stricklett

Sue Ghosh-Stricklett is a prominent attorney and policy expert who serves as a Strategic Advisor & Legal Counsel for the American Hindu Jewish Congress (AHJC). Sue’s background uniquely blends high-level legal advocacy with a focus on national security and religious freedom. Sue is a constitutional lawyer with demonstrated experience shaping Supreme Court jurisprudence through coalition-based amicus strategy, particularly in the areas of religious liberty, equal protection, and multilateral civic engagement. She is also well known for her work on civil rights for religious minorities. She frequently testifies before Congressional committees and participates in international forums to address the intersection of law and the protection of faith traditions in the United States. Moreover, with a deep background in U.S. foreign affairs and national security law, particularly concerning the Indo-Pacific region, Sue has served as an advisor on U.S.-India relations to several Republican Presidential campaigns. She has been a vocal advocate for strengthening strategic ties between the two nations. Her leadership within the AHJC is seen as a bridge between the legal world and the specific advocacy needs of Hindu and Jewish Americans.
